Dr. Stephen Suffron

Senior Pastor

Steve began serving as our Senior Pastor in December 2018, after twenty years of ministry in Arkansas and various parts of Texas. He graduated from TCU with a broadcast journalism degree in 1999. and received his Master’s of Divinity from B.H. Carroll Theological Institute in 2009. He completed his Doctor of Ministry, with a specialization in Strategic Leadership, from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020. His lifelong testimony is, “You can trust God!” He wants to live out that truth every day and to encourage and teach others to do the things—and live the life—that Jesus modeled and taught. 

Steve and his wife Liz were married in 2003, while Steve was serving as a youth minister in Huffman, Texas. They have four children: Joseph, Hope, Susanna and John. Steve enjoys baseball and other sports, as well as coaching and watching his kids play. As a family, they enjoy movies, swimming, amusement parks, and other ways of spending time together.
