Student Ministry
At First Baptist Denison, we care about students and seek to provide a place where young people can learn the gospel, to discover who they are in Jesus Christ as their faith in God increases, and to help them grow into disciples who will serve Jesus through the church wherever God sends them and in whatever career or path they choose.
Wednesday Night Youth
Our student ministry for 7th-12th-grade students have been led by youth team leaders Bryce and Rachel Powers.
On SUNDAYS, Youth BFG meets in “The Pit” at 9:45 a.m.
On WEDNESDAYS, Youth Bible Study meets in “The Pit” at 6:00 p.m.
Youth Activities
We have an active group that enjoys spending time together all year long, with activities like game nights, movie nights, swimming, Smash Brothers tournaments, and more.
Our group also serves in the life of our church, with students serving on the worship team, the tech team, and other areas of service.
One of our favorite events each year is church camp. Our 2024 camp is planned for July 5-7 at Oakridge Christian Camp in Oklahoma.
